Cultural Campaign Design for a National Celebration of Freedom

Visual storytelling, campaign graphics, and digital content supporting the National Juneteenth Museum and Freedom Vibes, a major Juneteenth celebration in Fort Worth, Texas.

Freedom Vibes extends that mission into a public-facing cultural experience, bringing together music, art, workshops, comedy, community programming, and celebration in Fort Worth.

As part of the creative team, I supported campaign visuals, social media content, event graphics, digital assets, and branded communications that helped translate the museum’s mission into a modern visual system.

THE CHALLENGE

The creative challenge was to design for a mission with deep cultural meaning while also building excitement around a large public celebration.

The work needed to feel historical, respectful, vibrant, modern, and accessible. It had to support the museum’s institutional voice while giving Freedom Vibes its own energy as a live cultural experience.

The visual system also needed to work across multiple formats, including social media, web graphics, event promotions, sponsor communications, and public-facing campaign assets.

CREATIVE APPROACH

Turning Cultural History Into a Living Visual Experience

The creative direction balanced the historical significance of Juneteenth with the energy of music, community, art, and celebration.

The goal was to create visuals that felt bold and contemporary while still honoring the deeper purpose behind the museum and the event.

The design system used strong typography, vibrant color, clear hierarchy, and flexible layouts to help audiences quickly understand the event, connect with the message, and engage with the celebration.

FREEDOM VIBES CAMPAIGN

Freedom Vibes is a Juneteenth celebration produced by the National Juneteenth Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.

For this campaign, I supported the creation of digital and promotional assets that extended the Freedom Vibes identity across social media, event announcements, programming highlights, and branded communications.

The campaign needed to feel joyful, cultural, energetic, and organized, while staying connected to the museum’s larger mission of education, preservation, and community impact.
